ABLOY Automatic Swing Door Operators (DA400 and DA400/S) have been installed at the Central Middlesex Hospital as part of the on-going development of the Ambulatory Care and Diagnostics Centre (ACAD).

ABLOY opens the door to a healthy future

Implementation of the final stage of Part III of the Disability Discrimination Act in October 2004 has impact on hospitals.  This covers goods, facilities and services and will require the removal of physical barriers that prevent disabled people from gaining access to public buildings.

Like other service providers, hospitals will have to make their premises more accessible at entry and exit points.  The installation of ABLOY Automatic Door Operators guarantees easier access for both the able bodied and the disabled.
