A successful CTX 2017 for Abloy UK

Abloy UK have had a busy two days at the Security & Counter Terror Expo at Olympia, London this month, making new contacts and demonstrating innovative product developments.

A successful SCTX 2017 for Abloy UK

The Abloy CNI team have been exhibiting at CTX for several years now, and see the event as on of the highlights of the year. The exhibition gave Abloy the opportunity to showcase its comprehensive range of access control solutions and locking technology.

Abloy UK exhibited the following prodcts:

  • LPCB-rated padlocks
  • Low Energy electric locks
  • PROTEC2 CLIQ
  • CLIQ Connect
  • Traka21

The team also discussed the NaTSCO protocol dynamic lockdown with visitors to their stand. By combining PROTEC2 CLIQ - a web-based security system, which allows for the remote management of electronic master-keyed sites - with Abloy padlocks and electric locks; specifiers can create a bespoke security solution, designed to ensure maximum protection.

To achieve dynamic lockdown, an organisation needs to be able to restrict access and egree to a certain site, building or areas within a building.

Offering audit trails on cylinders and padlocks by recording the use of each key, PROTEC2 CLIQ provides an efficient tracking system. As users can remove permissions for lost and stolen keys from anywhere in the world, the system ensures dynamic lockdown can be achieved.

The latest update to the system, CLIQ Connect, enables users to update keys from their smartphones, enhancing the security credentials of the solution.

Overall, the Abloy CNI Team had a productive SCTX 2017 and are looking forward to attending and exhibiting next year.
